When we're asked what we want for Christmas,all to often our answer is to name some material thing we'd like.May I ask you a question,when you are celebrating the day you where born who is it that gets the gift? Right,it's you.So then,with the month of December being the month in which we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, why should you be expecting a gift? Has anyone ever shared with you when it's someone else's birthday,it's them that gets the gift not you? Think about it for all these years you've been making a fool of yourself about Christmas.If in fact it is December when Jesus was born,then it is His birthday.Now let's sat the record straight it is you who should be getting a gift for the church in the name of Jesus for the ministry of God.With the love of God for the people of God we here at The KING'S SCROLL bid you all a very MARY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

The News Head Lines In The World Today

According to what is shown to us by the news media,we often become unconscious about what the meaning of some of the news is.Everything is leading us to think life is all bad and is going to end in just a matter of days or in a few hours at the most.If you may have notice, the media is only interested in giving us bad news because the good news doesn't sell.Journalism is good at interpreting the real world in a negative light.But as "Christians" we know that Jesus is the good news.Back in the year 2000,there was all the talk about the end times.May be is it's or may be it's not.People the most important thing in life is not the issue of the end of the world.If we carefully read the word of God,we will know this is an issue for God not us.So then there is good news based on the living wisdom that God gives to all of us.About the end of the world,Jesus said,"Now concerning that day and hour no one knows,neither the angels in heaven,nor the Son,except the Father only."Matthew C-24:v36 (NKJV).Jesus then gave us some really good news;"And remember,I am with you always,even unto the end of the world.Mathew C-28:v20b(NKJV). "So then get your house in order,Jesus is coming soon and all ready is.

If Greatness Is what You Seek!

Have you done as John the Baptist did? Have you yourself ask, Jesus is He the is the one who is to come,or should you look for another? If you haven't then let me proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to you today.Jesus said about John the Baptist,among those born of women there has been none greater than John the Baptist;yet the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." So you see we still have a lot of work to do for God.Matthew C-11;v2 Thu 11.

Most people don't realize how often the Bible features the remarkable power of prayer.Yet,with over 850 separate references to this magnificent subject,the Bible includes astounding stories of how prayer freed slaves,cured illness,restored loved ones,bestowed blessings,comforted the grieving and helped shape the course of human history.Perhaps more important are Biblical accounts of how prayer worked inwardly to open the eyes and hearts of men and women just like you and me,making our lives fuller and bringing us closer to God.Yet,some still ask does God answer prayer? Show Some Real Love!

How many times would you say you've been in love? Our Lord Jesus Christ commanded His disciples to "love one another,"because "by this all will know that you are My disciples,if you have love for one another"(John C:v34 &v35).The love that our Lord wants His disciples to have for one another is different from the romantic kind displayed between loving couples and the brotherly kind shown between friends or family.It's an unselfish love.The Greek word John used in Jesus'command is agape--God's kind of love that expects nothing in return.That was what Jesus showed to His disciples "when He "poured water into a basin and begain to wash the disciples'feet"(v.5).That is the kind of love He showed for us when He went to the cross for us.So then bear one another's burdens ,and so fulfill the law of Christ.Galatians C:6.v2.

Suppose you could ask God the most puzzling questions about existence--questions about love and faith,life and death,good and evil.You can God has already provided clear,understandable answers.The Bible is it,and it's no illusion.Get it while it's hot.

Why Do Men War?

At the core many disputes in a home,community,or the world,there is often at least one person who is not willing to accept a different idea,belief,tradition,or appearance.Yet there is something happening that has greater power,a power for good.One by one,throughout the world,you can fine people dedicated to being at peace in a world of diversity,a world of unique individuals created by God.To love and be loved by each other.There is a harvest of peace that is nourishing the world.James C-3:v18.
