When holidays come around some people still have to work.Yet some of you get all worked up about being off.As life in the work place is so hard today.People don't lose your job just becasue you wanted to be off,and had to work by calling in lieing about being sick just to hang out and party.Pink slips are not nice to get,even when you have to.Stay blessed in the Lord!

Happy Father's Day

Hated For The Right Reason...

Do you feel like everyone around you hate you? There is no blessing for being hated because one is foolish,lazy.untrustworthy,inept,or unfaithful. One might deserve such treatment in these cases. But when one is hated simply because he or she is a Christian,living a life of testimony for Christ,then he or she receives the blessing promised in the word of God. Jn.C15:v18-19;I-Pet.C-2:v19-20;I-Jn.C-3:v13.

Who's Children Are You?

All who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear,but you have received a spirit of adoption.When we cry ,"Abba! Father! it is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God,and if children,then heirs,heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ--if,in fact,we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified wiyh him. Romans C-8:v14 Thur C-17.

There Is A Paradise! Get In Where You Fit In.

"One minute after you slip behind the parted curtain of time,you will either be enjoying a personal welcome from Christ or catching hell like you never have before.Either way,your future will be irrevocably fixed and eternally unchangeable. The book of Luke record's a short yet powerful narrative that pictures two men about to go behind that curtain of death. When Jesus was being crucified ,two thieves hung alongside Him. According to Mark,both men hurled insults at Jesus. ( mark C-15:v32). One of the thieves,however,had a change of heart as he realized Jesus's innocene,his own sin, and his destiny. He rebuked the other thief and asked Jesus to remember him when He came into His kingdom. These words were a sign of repentance and simple faith. Jesus responded," I say to you,today you will be with Me in Paradise"(Luke C-23:v43). Prepare for tomorrow, by asking Jesus today to forgive your sins.

A Call From God!!

In today's cell phone world,it's easy not to answer a call when you don't know the number you see calling you. We should be mindful to answer our call's it maybe God calling you the next time. You should know,God has called and predestined us for eternal life. However, we may fail to obtain it through our own fault. We must conform our life's to this call and,through prayer and sacraments,make sure our predestination. It's wise to make an effort to do this. For if you do so,you will never be lost. 1 Peter C-1:v10. Long live the child of God.

"Don't Miss Your Divine Appointment"

In the time's we are living in people find it hard tobe on time for anything.But I know one appointment you want be late for.It is your call to judgment.In the word of God,(2 Corinthians C-5:v:10 Thur v:15). Be sure you read it for yourself.

A Time To Reflect

God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has given to us. God's Spirit and love are one and the same. So where there is no love,the Holy Spirit is not present. So then,here is much food for thought.Where the Holy Spirit reigns,the love God and of our neighbor also flourishes. Romans C-5:v5. Who love's you baby?

Idols

Don't let your idols play you for a fool. The world knows many idols which it serves. Some of them are:ambition,esteem,money,passion for another person or one's own "ego",pleasure,and power.The true Christian knows and senses only one: Christ, only Christ,the total Christ. Whom or what do you serve the most?

Sick Minds or A Divine Mind!

All to often people want to give you a piece there mind in todays culture. But we as people of God's ,we would do well to ask God to keep us in our right mind. So when we do give someone a piece of our mind it"s all about Him. Mental illness is an area of life where the word of God is the only ANSWER.

What is your power source?

As you read the Bible,you will begain to discover that within the word of God there are keys to unlock the source of your being. The answers to your life's dilemmas are not in agencies,organizations,or the goverment. God must become your Source! (Romans C-8:v35, Thur V37.

God,don't old you any thing.

Did you know that God,has an inheritance for you? Some people think an inheritance is something that is handed to them on a silver platter,Not in God's process! You have to belive it, confess it, and claim it by faith! As I think about the words Jesus,that in the last days,there would be "distress of nations...men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth"( Luke C-21:v25 thru v26).

Speak the Word!

The centurion responded,"It is not necessary for you to come under my roof. I am not worthy of such an honor.You don't have to come and lay Your hands on him."He declared,Speak the word only,and my servant shall be healed ( Matthew C-8:v6).There come a time in your life,when you need to ask Jesus to speak a word anew for you.
