Self Entanglements

When God places a call on our life.He then gives us something to do.One of the things that we must not do is get so caught up in our own need that we stop doing what God has given us to do. We as humans have a tendency to get entangled in things.Paul told Timothy that no soldier in service should get his or her self entangled with the things of civilian life.We must avoid entanglements with the world.We are in the world but must resist becoming worldly or loving the world and the things in it in an excessive manner.We can stay so busy trying to provide for ourselves that we miss what's in God will for us.In essence,that is what happen when people bow to the emotions of life.We must be on our guard against getting entangled and trapped.Hebrews C-12:v1.

The Lord And The Lamb

When God dose His thing in your life you must be ready.There will come a time when the Lord and the Lamb will come in the spirit and carry you away to a great ,high mountian and show you the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God. And you too will see no temple in the city,for it's temple is the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb.And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it,for the glory of God is it's light,and it's lamp is the Lamb. The nations will walk by it's light,and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.It's gates will never be shut by day and there will be no night there.Peopl will bring into it thy glory and honor of the nations.But notthing unclean will enter it,nor anyone who practices abomination or falsehood,but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.Then the angel's will show the river of water of life,bright as crystal,flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city.on either side of the river is the tree of life with it's twelve kinds of fruit,producing it's fruit each month;and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.Nothing accursed will be found there any more.But the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it,and his servants will worship him;they will see his face,and his name will be on their foreheads.And there will be no more night;they need no light of lamp or sun,for the Lord God will be their light,and they will reign forever and ever.Revelation C-21:10,22-22:5

When Life's Emotional Wounds Get The Best Of You

If you've had something painful happen to you,don't let that experience be the focal point of your life.Stop talking about it;stop bringing it up to your friends.You must get beyond the pain.Until you let go of the old ,God will not bring the new.It's natural to feel sorrow and to grieve, but you shouldn't be in that state five or ten years later.If you want tobe made whole again and you really want to get well,you need to move on with your life.All to often we keep reliving the painful memories of our past,negating God's desire to bring healing to us.Just as we are about heal,we start thinking about it all over again.All those emotions start messing with your head,and now your seeing it in your imagination.Jesus, has given His life.So you don't have to live that way.Your past does not have to determine your future.Dare to trust God in the midst of all your disappointments.So now when life get the best of you.Give God the rest of you.
