Jesus Is In The Rescue Business

Living in the times we're in,we often see people in circumstances that only God can them get out of. Yet,it seem to me that we call on every one but Him. Well, regardless of your circumstances God will always respond to a call for help. Not once can it be said, He didn't.Many times we create unnecessary problems in our lives because we approach life from wrong angle. Sin is the big angle we all seem to forget about, until we fine yourself in this spot. You see life come with rules,it's when we ignored them we have to bear the consequences. And most of the times we can't handle it. The central message of the Bible is one of rescue.Paul points out that none of us "deserve" God's mercy and none of us can save ourselves.Like a stranded hiker, all we can do is call for help.Quoting the psalmist,he says,"There is none righteous,no not one;there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God" (Rom.C-3:v.10-v.11;Ps.C-14:v.1-v.3).The good news of the gospel is that,in spite of our state, God seeks after us in the rescue business. Now, then what keeps you from calling out to God for spiritual rescue? What does Romans C-3:v.23-v.26 say? There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. Luke C-15:v.10.
